About Me
Carina was born and raised in Mumbai, India.
From a very young age, she's been fascinated by visual storytelling. She started her career in Mumbai as a Producer where she created sports content for television. She produced ONE IN A BILLION, a reality show to find India's next Formula One Driver that involved shooting across seven cities in India. She moved to Boston to pursue her Masters in Film & Television Production from Boston University. In 2012 she moved to Los Angeles and worked as a video editor and produced 5 award winning short films. She worked as an Associate Producer for I See You, a short film which screened at the 2017 Cannes Film festival, American Pavilion and won Best Film at the 2017 Asian American Film Festival. In 2018 Carina produced a documentary on Climate Change in the Himalayan Regions and its impact on farming. Saving Saffron screened at the Colorado Environmental Film Festival, Tulum Environmental Film Festival and was a nominee at the British Columbia Environmental Film Festival. Carina recently completed her second documentary feature with Uncommon Productions, Cracking The Code: Phil Sharp & The Biotech Revolution.
